Last year on Give Miami Day, DDTM raised over $23,000 thanks to your incredible support, surpassing previous years by leaps and bounds! This year, dollars raised will play an important role in studio improvements in partnership with Miami Youth Ballet.

Like any physical activity, ballet carries with it an inherent risk of injury. For dancers, severe injuries can mean ongoing pain and trauma, prolonged time off with no income, or at worst - the complete loss of a hard-gained career.

The surface we dance on is crucial to our safety and productivity. We rely on proper resilience, support, and traction to safely execute the demands of the technique. The floor we have been dancing on these past six years is over a decade old, and no longer has proper traction, nor the stability. We are in desperate need of a new one.

We need YOU this Miami Day!  Here is how to help support our studio improvements: An incredibly humble and generous local family has anonymously donated $1 million to Give Miami Day, so the Miami Foundation is offering a $1,000 matching grant to each and every organization. All we have to do is to reach at least 40 unique donors to get a full $1,000 match for DDTM.
