About DDTM
Our Mission

To boldly reimagine the art of contemporary ballet and innovate how it is experienced; to amplify new choreographic voices reflective of Miami’s diversity; and to make ballet accessible to all as a catalyst for community impact.

Our Vision

To connect South Florida audiences with dynamic, relevant ballet that reflects today’s world and enriches lives through accessible, high-quality performances that celebrate the art form’s range and cultural significance.

Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami (DDTM) is a professional contemporary ballet company founded in 2016 by Jennifer Kronenberg and Carlos Guerra, former Miami City Ballet principal dancers with over 40 years of combined experience in the art form. The company was created to connect South Florida communities with the evolving depth and relevance of ballet, and to make the art form more accessible to all.
Since its founding, DDTM has generated opportunities for dancers and elevated choreographic voices that reflect the unique culture of Miami. Today, we have grown into a COMPANY with a full season of performances and outreach programs; garnered acclaim for our innovative repertoire and artistry, toured nationally and internationally, and impacted thousands each year – redefining ballet and building bridges through our work.
DDTM has also created a variety of community outreach programs in partnership with local organizations to ensure that children, youth, and underserved areas can learn about and enjoy ballet. These collaborations convey DDTM’s commitment to sharing the art form broadly and making world-class ballet less exclusive and more accessible to everyone.
In its first decade, the company has garnered local and national recognition for its “athletic, energetic, sexy” (Alistair Macaulay, The New York Times) style. DDTM has been invited to perform at The Joyce Theater’s Summer Ballet Festival, Jacob's Pillow Inside/Out Summer Dance Festival, The Kennedy Center’s “Arts Across America” live digital series, FESBO – Festival de Ballet Bogotá, and the International Ballet Festival of Miami.
